Dave Jones is the owner and creative force behind Doonbug Aerial & Photography, a boutique real estate media company serving Charlotte and Sarasota Counties. Combining professional photography, aerial imaging, and visual marketing strategy, Dave brings a refined creative approach to every property he captures.
An Englewood native, Dave is an active professional musician, composer, and creative entrepreneur who spent more than 15 years based in Nashville before relocating back to Florida’s Gulf Coast. His background includes national touring, television appearances, film and media composition, music licensing, branding, and years of creative production and self-marketing. Those experiences helped shape his understanding of presentation, storytelling, and audience engagement — skills that now translate directly into the real estate marketing world. Doonbug Aerial & Photography originally began as an opportunity for Dave to pursue real estate as a secondary profession after returning to the area. After spending several years working full-time in real estate sales — while also photographing his own listings and assisting fellow agents with marketing media — he realized his strengths were best utilized from the creative and marketing side of the industry.
Today, as owner and operator of Doonbug Aerial LLC, Dave combines his creative background, real estate experience, FAA Part 107 drone certification, and local market knowledge to provide polished, professional, and impactful imagery throughout Southwest Florida. His understanding of both real estate and visual marketing allows him to create content designed not only to showcase properties, but to help agents and homeowners present them at their absolute best.
Known for reliable communication, fast turnaround times, and a clean, consistent visual style, Dave has become a trusted media partner for agents, builders, designers, vacation rental owners, and homeowners throughout the region.
